“Flight of the Butterflies” in 3D

We are very excited to have brought the 3D film FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLIES to New Zealand for you, your family and your friends to see. It is a natural history epic. It is a detective story. Join hundreds of millions of real butterflies on an amazing journey to a remote and secret hideaway, and one scientist’s year search to unravel the mystery. Where do they go each autumn? Experience the FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLIES.

The film has received rave reviews all around the world since it was first released a few years ago… and people who attended our premiere screenings at the end of June were also excited about it. You can read some of their feedback HERE.

We worked very hard to raise funds so that screenings for schools could be subsidised making it more affordable for classes to see the movie. For our gala premiere many schools sent in paper monarch butterflies, coloured appropriately as per the template provided and with their school name on the inside. These paper butterflies – about 4,500 of them – were used in the artwork of overwintering monarchs – it was really amazing to see.
