Hello, I am raising monarch butterflies, and I noticed today one of the chrysalis made on Sunday is already turned blue/black today, Tuesday. Is it possible for it to be hatching so soon, is is it most likely going to die?

Too hard to tell from here. I suspect you are in North America. And suggest you post on the FB “The Beautiful Monarch” page where you can post photos. Also add a general location there, that may help too. Good luck!

    Ok. Thank you
One more question. 😬 There are two more chrysalis hanging nearby. Is it a parasite? Will it spread? Can I prevent them from “catching” it?
    Thanks a lot!

From your description it sounds more that the animal has died I’m sad to say
