    Hi
One of our budding little butterfly guardians was very upset to find that a praying mantiss was actually eating ‘her’ chrysalis. Is a PM a natural predator of the lifecycle of a butterfly – or a pest?
We are all in a state of shock here at Little Einsteins Montessori.

I would love to add a photo, how do I do this?
    Kind regards
    Karen and concerned LEM friends

    Hi Karen

Feel free to send me the photograph, jacqui@nzbutterflies.org.nz, and I will post it.

Yes, praying mantises are predators of monarchs. 🙁

Hard as it may be, it is a good time to talk about Nature, and that death is a part of life…

    Thanks
