Morning all I have been doing Monarchs for the last 10 years and I have never had them this late in the season. Normally its Mind March where my last one will hatch. Maybe we are seeing them because of the long warm Summer? I live in the East Coast of New Zealand. I was just wondering what should I do?

Release it is the best bet. I released the last of mine on Friday. It had been kept in the cold laundry for a couple of days when the weather was really dire. That way it had adapted to the cold and when i put it in the sun it flew off. If its strong enough it will overwinter somewhere and be back on nice days to nectar and be ready to breed in the spring.
