Don’t know how many are going, Ash, but several have said they “wouldn’t miss it”. Have you got any brochures?? Bring them along if you have.

Hi Pining… here are the details…
A reminder that Professor Myron Zalucki, from Queensland, will give an address, ‘A Wandering Monarch in a Milkweed Patch : Some ideas for butterfly conservation’.

His research has focussed on insect ecology and insect-plant interactions in particular. His studies have included egg-laying behaviour in females and the survival of the early stage larvae; his work is widely published. Myron has been researching Monarchs and milkweeds for 25 years, and will share what he has learned with us.

Come along and learn more about our fascinating Monarchs at the Auckland Horticultural Rooms, Great North Rd, Western Springs, Opposite Motions Road (road to zoo). This is a great opportunity! Please spread the word.

Thursday, 12 April – 7pm. Admission by donation to cover expenses. Further information email jacqui@monarch.org.nz or phone 09 403 8543
