I have two different swan plants in different locations (one inside) which i have transferred Cats to (to get them away from predators on other plants) and two of the Cats (on two different plants) have excreted a bright green liquid, one that dripped right down the plant and one all over the house (where it appears he has gone to turn into a chrysalis). Can anyone tell me what this is? Is my Cat hurt or diseased? I think both of these Cats that have made the mess have then turned into a chrysalis. Any help much appreciated.

They do seem to vomit a green liquid if threatened or handled roughly. However if it continues then it might be a sign of poisoning. Did it happen soon after you transferred them to the new plant? Was the new plant purchased recently?
