    Edith (in Florida) has just released a great article on Oe, or Ophryocystis elektroscirrha if you prefer to use the full title.



    If the pupae are infected with this pathogens, then you are more likely to have more "failures" or deformities when the Monarch butterflies emerge – as the butterflies have already been weakened by Oe and have more of a struggle.
