Are swan plant stems nutritious (no more leaves)

    Our swan plants have been stripped of their leaves, but caterpillars are still on the bare stems? Are they still getting nutrition? If I slice pumpkin and lay on the ground, should I pick the caterpillars off the stems and put them on the pumpkin? Or will they find their own way to the pumpkin? Ta

    mine have been eating the tops of stems even tho plenty of leaves to munch on. however they do continue with the leaves.

    Swan plants stems are probably better for the caterpillars then pumpkin
