    it seems no one wants to reply yes we have that ant in nelson as well it has not made it to our district yet but im sure it will yes just something else to battle tis a shame the trust cant put up any replys to posts like these

    imm a coloured tag on a orange wing think white stands out very well on orange,as for seeing a number on a tag while they are flying yea maybe if you get a shot with a good camera

    yes it happens some times have done that to 3 this year but look on the bright side we have got over 200 away you cant get all away thats nature as it is

    yeah it will take its course best of luck yea to hard to put pics on here but if you go to facebook and go to monarch butterfly addicts-new zealand tis a great site post and put up pics with a good response

    i tell you what they are very allusive i lost over 10 cats in a cage till i found it nah didnt kill it but it got well removed

    im 1 inch lol so 25mm yeah maybe smaller we had a small one this yea wingspan 82mm dat small they usaully around 92 to 100mm but she flew away nicely

    yea tis amazing highs and lows but allways think of the highs, we still getting a few pillers tipping up here very annoying thought we had sorted it,we thought this season if we got 80 away that would be great but yea got over 200 away so great, but not only that we grew plants in our garden this year for them to suck on you no what could go outside in the middle of the day at least 6 would be flying being silly dive bomb you lol,i had a older male i would go outside in the evening stand on the deck with a beer he would fly up to me and land on the hand rail just beside me so amazing

    tell you a little story we had a puupa sit black for 3 days yea thought its dead, so thought put it in the bin,then i thought give this a try pulled it off the the ceiling, got a toothpic out and played with it where they hatch out from,well bugger me out comes the legs then its bum then wings stuck to pupa,so out with tweesres pull off the pupa it flew away about 4hrs later im think thats the highlite of our project this year never give up

    its never to late keep them warm look after the plant need to be in the sun during the day found another 3 pillers today just had one from our plants go j and one go to pupa so yea cool
