What's killing my caterpillars?

    The caterpillar doesn’t appear to be eaten, which would rule out wasps, praying mantids or other predators. Neither do they appear to be deflated, which would be the case if they were attacked by a soldier bug or spider, which suck the contents from the caterpillar. If it was poison they would drop off the plant. Without other photos or information which may pinpoint something, I would suspect disease, particularly if the caterpillars are hanging limp from their prolegs.
