    Hi
I have searched the internet and this forum on this troubling issue that has happened only so far to one of our caterpillars (fingers x).

Noticed that one caterpillar was “poohing” what appeared to be orange jelly poop. Bought it inside to feed on fresh food, and noticed it appeared to be in pain as it writhed and twisted back and forth.

Tried to relieve/remove the jelly like substance and it ruptured and it oozed out and the caterpillar stopped moving and decided the humane thing was to euthanize via freezer.

I also removed all other caterpillars from the suspected plant.

Has anyone got any suggestions? I really don’t want my other caterpillars becoming infected like this.
