I have 30+ swan bushes. At any moment of the day monarchs are laying eggs. But when I look there is only a very small number of eggs. Are they being eaten? Falling off?
Five weeks ago I removed caterpillars to my caterpillar farm ALL where very big- no small ones anywhere and I have not seen a single one since nor any sign of feeding.

Look under SPECIES / PESTS for help with wasps. Also look under tags for ants – what others have learned or shared.

Also the hot tags for pests and predators…

My guess – ants are getting the eggs and maybe the little tiddlers too. Bigger caterpillars are most probably getting taken by wasps.
