Good and bad seeds

I have no qualifications in seed grading, but the seeds in the attached photograph that are underlined in yellow (three of them I think) I would classify as being the very best quality seed.

Perhaps some of the others would be fine too, but it is hard to know. My camera is not great – but neither are my eyes, and when I’m sorting seeds I go by the size of them.

In this bunch here there are a couple I would throw away, but most of the rest I would suggest is second-grade seed (to be given away where it would be planted in bulk, or scattered).
