Sorry people..Thought this information was on here but couldn't find it..forgot the proportions for the dishwash solution..I did have a recipe with a bit of cooking oil in too but don't know if this is suitable for the swan plants..Also how long after solution and washing off solution is it okay to introduce the caterpillars.

A guest speaker at the garden club tonight was saying that you need to use a nreal soap like sunlight to adhere to the aphids,..is this ok for swan plants and the future caterpillars and how long before the plants would be safe for caterpillars?

I am not really sure how this will keep up with washing them with dishwashing solution but if you say that it will keep them bugs away, I would rather oblige and have it a go.

being safe from caterpillars really depends on the location you are in and there are those who would not be an open target but there are also those which would be susceptible to being peppered with insects.
