Looking for Parsonia seed (New Zealand Jasmine)

    Hello everyone. Im searching for Parsonia seeds. There are 3 endemic species in New Zealand.

    By the way, Charlie is in the Philippines. It would be great to find out more about the Idea leuconoe, the Paperkite. Picture of it here:

    Yes, the Parsonias are lovely plants and good nectar plants for our Admirals. Here is a pic from Oratia Native Plant Nursery of a Yellow Admiral nectaring on it http://www.oratianatives.co.nz/catalogue_extras.php?photo_id=1048

    Sorry Charlie, I don't have any seed, but Oratia Native Plant Nursery sells the plants and may well have the seed if you contact them through their website http://www.oratianatives.co.nz

    Jacqui, the Paperkite is one of my alltime favourites! It's the one on my arm in the photo of me as a trustee.

    Wow, I didn't realise that - and neither did I realise that it's a great source of nectar. Thanks for finding that photo at Oratia...

    N.Z.Tree Seeds - http://www.nzseeds.co.nz - lists Parsonsia heterophylla seed but not available until May 2012.
