Have you got the food there for them and do you raise them in a butterfly house or outside?
Cinnabar moth cterpillars eat ragworts & groundels.
Get plants first before get livestocks.
No good get livestocks before get plants.
i do have food here for them, so if anyone wants to send me larvae thats fine:) email me for a address etc. zac_dax@hotmail.com
What sort of set up do you have for breeding them and how many sorts of butterflies do you breed?
i have insect breeding cages and a large flight cage. i have bred admirals for atleast 10 years now, and i breed atleast 5 different species at current time. im looking at breeding more exotic species from australia as i have in the past. otherwise i have everything needed for them im very experienced in this field. all i need is someone to supply me some, so if someone can suply me around 10-15 larvae it would be much appreciated.
Any photo's you can send us? Would be great to see your set up
Hi Zac,
Australia do not export its native animals.
You might get cyclone-blew aussie butterflies for you to get eggs.
Today I did not caught any butterflies.
Zac and Clinton, I suggest you email each other privately.
Please email us (trust@monarch.org.nz) if you are happy for the other to have your email address, and I will pass the email on.
Cheers
Jacqui
