Feeding on butternut squash

Yes, they are raising Monarch caterpillars in England - but they are running low on milkweed so they are feeding the last instar larvae on butternut squash. These photographs from Gary Watson. Thanks Gary!

Hi Jacqui, Red admiral laying eggs on Urtica ferox. About two centimetres to the right of the tip of the butterfly’s head is an egg, and another egg further to the right on the next leaf following the same angle. cheers - Norm.
