Flying between ours and the neighbors property
a few butterflies have ventured out –and a Kaka has arrived ! He like the Tree Lucern too.
Saw a group of 6 feeding on my Euryops daisy I have not seen many dead ones but can’t find where they are camping over night.
was just driving along the road and I saw it and felt like celebrating because maybe spring is nearly here

Fully fledged Monarch found on the ground on the concrete path. Recovered once brought inside to shelter. Has been sitting inside for days. Appears to be “sleeping” but moves now and then.
