1YELLOW ADMIRAL.good condition.sunning itself on wall,then feeding on African Marygolds, flew off Landed on geranium bush Found South African Praying mantis devouring it.Mantis dispatched .All happened in @ 10 minutes.

i met a lady from this org last year and promised to contact her about the winter sitings of monarchs behind my house in clifford street kaikohe. the monarchs are gathering in two large totara trees in reed park which my property backs onto.

Butterfly was on some grass in the paddock, as we came closer it flew up and away to the south towards some pine trees

16th June beautiful day. Heaps of monarchs flying around with lots in clusters on tree. Some old some new.Quite a sight to see so many flying!! Haven’t seen ant with tags.
