some look as though they are ready to cacoon now they are very big

Fly in home garden, give eggs and now we have so much caterpillar! Help to save it. We don’t have swan plants enough!

we have 5 chrysalis at our place on our back deck we have young swan plants that had lots of eggs but over 50% of caterpillars died we where quite confused about this as last summer we had lots of caterpillars lots of chrysalis and lots of new butterfly’s this year its been a […]
at least 6 chrysalis and 5 empty chrysalis and 2 newly hatched Monarchs
Butterfly was in garden recently now have lots of caterpilla’s with 7 into crysalis - approx another 5 ready to turn with lots of little ones feeding.
2 Butterflies hatched from rescued cocoons several others around garden
we have a large swan plant in our garden,I see 2-3 monarchs a day,I presume its the same ones that visit every day but have seen 3 at the same time,have seen them mate and lay eggs on the tree,have had 3 hatch so far,one had a damaged wing and the others were fine
