Monarch Butterfly NZ Trust

Butterfly hanging about a large flowering plant, with bright, purple cone - flowers. The same plant was also busy with bumbles, bees, white butterflies. The Monarch flew from one part of the plant to the other before settling on a flower, then leaving.

• Site: Verge of road about large flowering shrub or bush
• Trees: Don't know name of plant, but large cone shaped, purple flowers.
• Weather: warm, sunny, mild breeze
