Further to report of 25 Jun, 27 butterflies on north side of same trees. Although sun on other side, no butterflies on that side.
Butterfly found dead with sticker on it
I think wasps keep carrying the monarch larvae off of my milkweed. I see wasps landing on the milkweed and when I come back the caterpillars are gone!
so many, resting on the warm sunny sheltered side of the row of cedars.they were all of one gender, having no black spot.
it was on a climbing box in the bark area of the kindergarten.
Sat on Grass for a good hour
This female Monarch was caught by Helen Healy at the above address & then released.It was tagged by Cosima Ray on 29 May 2007.
