Monarch found dead on driveway, wings fairly brown and dry
Found in car park
Found hanging in the overhead shadecloth
Below olive on our concrete paving. He looked weak, but beautiful and we picked him up with a broom.
Letter from Judy Ellery at 82 Whitby Rd, Wakefield: “Last night my son came in from driveway and had a Monarch Butterfly in his hand. It wsn’t damaged but died shortly after 30/5/2007 about 5.20pm. It had a sticker on it AL670. Sticker enclosed, was not sure whether you wanted butterfly back.

I saw a pair of monarchs matingwhen i came home at noon,my granddaughter brought dead buterfly at 3pm it is tagged with the number AM488
