We chopped down two large budlea trees (there is one left now). They were very overgrown, so were filling up the garden, so they had to go. When they were lying in the back garden, a group of monarch butterflies hovered over the fallen trees and the few remaining budlea floweres (it was well after they were in full bloom). They were around for a few days until the dead trees were removed. There is one large budlea in the garden, so I hope they return.
