This butterfly was released on the 4th April 2006
One slightly tatty female, been laying eggs on our swan plants for several days.
One butterfly, but I didn’t get close enough to see if male or female, flittering around near the ground in the sun.
Sitting on tree in the sun warming itself
While we were sitting on the verandah having morning coffee it cruised by - very healthy condition but went in large circles returning as if looking for flowers/nectar
Feeding on milkweed in garden
Healthy large adult flying strongly round my swan plants
Sitting in my backyard, sunning himself!
I found it when I go back from school, but it not one of you labeled. I was near to die.today when i saw the news i just know it is Monarch sighting butterfly. i was take some photos for it and send it back to my garden
