Pupa was kept inside house. The buttefly is male and he held onto my finger as I put him outside to hold onto a bush while his wings dried. I didn’t see him fly off but saw him flying round a neighbour’s garden.

Pupa was kept inside house and then put in garden when butterfly was ready to emerge from pupa. The butterfly was a male - 2 black spots on wings. When the wings dried, the butterfly took a short flight and then came back to land on my shoulder and then flew off.
