Seed Swap!
Noleen Burton of Nelson has seeds of Zinnias and Tweedia oxypetalum to share with other members. You can contact her at nolesplace@actrix.co.nz. I am sure she would appreciate seeds in return - and a self-addressed envelope with postage paid.
Stan Swan, Wellington raises all manner of feed plants and finds the Asclepias curassavica (Blood Flower) does VERY well in damper warmer situations. He says it seems a preferred Monarch feed, but needs lots of water - preferring almost a swamp!
He has zillions of seeds, especially from the above “Blood Flower”, and has records going back some years about first sightings, caterpillar invasions etc. These may be worth gathering for others to compare anecdotal memories etc.
Stan also has local knowledge as to assorted wild Swan plant locations in Wellington - always worth knowing when the garden centres sell out and one’s little darlings are crawling in vain looking for a feed. One in particular is almost pine tree size and he has lots of fresh seeds from it - free to a good home via S.A.E of course. Email is s.t.swan@massey.ac.nz
If you have seeds you would like to share, please write to jacqui@monarch.org.nz and we will list them here for you. And thanks!!!

Hi Daniel,
We would be unable to send seeds to, or share seeds with, the USA.
But you have a huge range available there. What are you looking for in particular?
