one butterfly flying around the Bottlebrush Tree and T-Tree
(I have a correction to be made, the last sighting I said Butterflies were sucking sap from a Pohutukawa, I got my trees mixed up it was the Bottlebrush Tree that it was sucking sap from)
Just a Monarch. May have been the same one that I saw [and reported] on 25 August, but couldn’t quite see the face.
I reported 2 butterflies in my garden earlier and now there is a lot of eggs on my swan plant and the butterflies are still flying around
neary deserted overwintering area

I saw a one monarch yesterday 25/8 though in Te Awamutu at the velodrome which is a large reserve bordered by all sorts of different exotic trees. It was a lovely warm day.
Beautiful sunny afternoon and a monarch sailed across the road infront of my car.
2 butterflies flying around my house and garden seem to be chasing each other. Then landing on a May Flower bush and mated for about 5 minutes and then continued to chase each other around and land on the same bush.The have beenaround for nearly an hour
